I’ve always been fascinated with this place. Great article – there was a good documentary about Centralia on UK TV a few years ago which is when I first heard of it. I live near this place maybe 15-20 minutes away. There are some people that still live in the dangerous parts but refuse to leave due to personal reasons (mostly because they where born and raised there).
