‘Fat Madison’, post mortem

Before people start telling me off – no, I’m not being rudely personal about the rather rotund lady in this post mortem photograph. ‘Fat Madison’ is the title that this jpeg image had been given by the website on which I found it. See the original post on CvltNation here 

The corner inscription on the frame reads ‘Schubert, 79[?] West Main St., Madison, Wisc.’ So the description comes from the location, not the lady’s figure.

I love her little smile.

    Schubert Photography Studio was number 19 West Main Street, Madison, WI. Some of my rellies are from WI, and have photos from the same place. But of live people. Well, they’re dead now, but when the photo was taken…
