Peter the Wild Boy

Another entry that is less sinister and more just curious. This photo was taken by my friend Jenny,  who says:

In the biting cold, I went to see the grave of the ‘feral boy’ Peter the Wild Boy, who died in 1785 aged in his 70s. I had to gently move a rather ugly floral tribute to one side to take this photo. Why do people leave them? Why was I there? Maybe we’re all afraid of rootlessness, being lost in the woods. I just as gently, put the nasty floral tribute back.
