And this is why I can never work as a filing clerk.

When my friend Amy posted a creepy picture onto Facebook this morning, I knew I’d seen it somewhere before.

In fact I’d seen it here on the Skull -

Whoever made the zombie skeleton version had obviously found a better original image to work from, as they’ve got extra detail in it.

The main thing I’ve learned from this is that my filing system is crap. knew I had the original somewhere, I just had no idea where. I was pretty sure I’d published it in an individual blog post, but wasn’t sure.

As it turned out, I’d actually included it on a gallery of post mortem photographs that I used to link to from the top menu on this page. Then I decided – as is my wont – that I should SPRING CLEAN ALL THE THINGS, and took down any unnecessary links, so as not to detract from the day to day loveliness.

Except that now there’s a big chunk of my photo library that isn’t showing on the site. This hadn’t occurred to me until this morning, when I went looking for the coffin photo to show Amy. Blah.

Actually, there is no point whatsoever to this rambling post, apart from ‘make sure your filing skills are better than mine.’ You can have that one on me.

In the meantime, I’d better go jump down the rabbit hole that leads to my labyrinthine media archive. I might be some time…
